Depth of field is too narrow. I'm assuming you were close to the subject and shooting with a low f/number. Try using a larger f/number to get more of the subject in focus. Compositionally, there is nothing interesting going on -- most of the flowers are centered, which contributes to the dullness. Try placing things off-center, and use the foreground/background together to create depth.

I like 1 and 3 the most. I think the narrow DOF works on them nicely.

#1's cool because the outside edge of the 'sphere' is in focus, giving a sharp outline as well as letting you see the center in detail.

#3's cool because the very center of it is sharp, which makes it work centered. I think this might work well in a square crop.

The background is a little bright and a little too green I think. Dandelions are a bit mundane but I like the white in 1 and 3.
