I tried to get a clean "head shot" of this bumble bee for almost 30 minutes but it was windy and the flowers were almost all forcing him to put his head into the bloom and hang upside down. This was the best I got unfortunately.

well, you still got some nice details in the wings, which look more red then i usual see here. So, maybe not a headshot, still a good one

Thanks for the comments. I'm going to try and hone my skills and see if I can get some quality shots like Doenoe and TCimages put out - that's quality stuff. Lots of folks don't like to shoot bugs but when you get a good macro shot, I think the detail you see if fascinating and usually missed to the naked eye..
