Thank you, GR. This was a tough photo to edit. The young bull was lying in shade, and just behind him was brightly lit leaf litter. I had to use selective brushes and treat each part differently.

Proud looking beast. Not overly keen on b+w conversions for wildlife but that an individual thing.

Thanks for your honest opinion. Apparently you aren't the only oneI've never had a B&W submission that members seemed to like, so I torture myself and try again on occasion

Maybe you should try penguins, skunks or pandas.

B&W on black and white animals, maybe that'll make the difference.
