That place looks vaguely familiar...

I stood between the footbridge and the building to take my 'morning fog over the dam' photo last month. It's a nice area, but it's beginning to get over grown with plant life as summer ends. And not to mention the geese...lol.

It's amazing but not too many years ago your photo would have been just a nice lake in the middle of a town park. I'm torn with what's happening there. Part of me likes the fact it kind'a going back to nature yet keeping it open enough for human use. Your photo still amazes me. I would have never guessed it was Barnhart's. Mine is just a "Welcome to Barnharts" postcard.

Thanks but it's not sharp which is ticking me off. The RAW is. The original is a little over 2 meg and it wouldn't allow me to upload so I had to resize. I did it with Pixlr that someone suggested. I think I need to go back and re-read the tutorial.

Ok, lets tear this baby apart. I posted this the other day purposely without much comment other then put it through the wringer. It's what I would consider just a 'nice" photo. Certainly not up to the standards of many, but maybe just average.
I kind'a laughed at Rotanimod, being the nice guy he is, and lacking anything more positive, applauded me for getting all the reflection in the frame. Seriously, thanks Rotty.

But lets use this as an subject to tear apart, What's it missing, what does it have, how could it be better? I would appreciate this to be kept as a serious learning subject. Batter up?

It's not so much the sharpness. I would have exposed for the building and adjust everything else in post.

So, you're seeing the building as over exposed? I was thinking the foliage might be a stop over.
BTW, This is a good point for anyone that wants to play. This is straight out of the camera, no PP
