Best Affordable set up for product photos

Hi, I need to take product photos of chairs for a client. They want them on a nice clean white background. I have done research between continuous lighting and strobes etc and i'm a little confused. Is there a kit I can just purchase that comes with lighting and a backdrop for this project? If so, what should I get? I don't need anything too expensive!

Strobed light is always easier to work with, however it is generally more expensive, and since the chairs won't be moving, you can get away with continuous lighting. My suggestion would be a set (4) of Adorama's Flashpoint monolights w/ stands and soft-boxes. A roll of seamless white background paper & stand, radio triggers and a few odds & ends such as a white balance target and flash meter. That should weigh in at under a thousand dollars with some left over.
