Best black & white ?

If you were to do the best, most pro b&W photo, would you use PS7 or Lightroom, or neither, CS3 would do a much better work ??

take a look at Silver Efex, it is very slick.

For years i used NikonView which came with the camera as it allowed the use of RGB channels, however, recently i have been testing Silver EFex .

SilverEfex Pro. Period. Gods I love the film grain I can get out of that thing, and the replicating the colour response of various B&W films? MMMmmmm. Heaven.

I'd use film and a darkroom. For the best most "pro" B/W photo, nothing beats Silver Gelatin.

Doesn't really matter. It's the techniques you use, not necessarily the tools that you use.

i think you can achieve whatever regardless which application you choose. i mean either of the applications you've decided on can do the job for you. making it seem "professional" is simply up to you.
