Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie on this site & love taking photographs!
I'm after a budget camera suitable for landscape photography or all round photography :)
By budget i mean as cheap as possible :)

Ive had a Fujifilm camera in the past but my smartphone camera is better than than now,
I aim to use the new camera for landscape photography so i can use the images to draw detailed artwork.

Looking forward to any replies,
Thankyou,
PB

Hello, and welcome!

A firm number would help.

You can get a compact camera for quite inexpensive, say starting around $200 and up.

Depending on other factors, a compact camera might be sufficient for your needs, or you may have to increase your budget if you want something else.

Thankyou kindly for your reply :)
I'm going to have a look at the link & keep researching..
Thankyou again :)

I have a roughly 3 year old Nikon Coolpix P60. It doesn't take horrid pics. But hopefully my job will allow another home computer so I can use it.

For drawing artwork from your images I would suggest an older, used, DSLR. There are a lot of these under $200 and you can add a used lens for under $100. Add a new battery, charger and memory card and your ready to go.

Welcome to the forum.

From what I understand you want to take a picture with a camera. Then later use that picture to do your hand artwork.

When you take pictures are you always in good light? Where is your cell phone failing you in the pictures you want to take? And budget would be good to know. And a list of what your current cameras / phone camera can't do, that you would like a newer camera to you would do.

Hi! Thankyou for commenting :)
My current phone camera is brilliant at fairly close objects & yes i use natural light to take photos. My phone camera is 12mp and my Fujifilm (Finepix S2750HD) camera is also 12mp but find it much easier to use my phone as the photos seem exactly the same..
I'd like my new camera to take photos of landscapes mostly.. And as for budget under £300 if possible.

Thankyou again for commenting, very appreciated :)

Best camera under budget to do landscape is in my opinion Nikon D3400
Its a little above your budget but I will explain why I chose this camera.
For landscape one of the most important thing is dynamic range.
When shooting landscape you want to have as much information as you can in the shadows, Sony sensors are best for that and the Nikon D3400 has one of the best APS-C sensors in the market today and its packaged in a rather nice even if basic featured camera.
Shoot in RAW and process in Lightroom and you are looking at a VERY powerful tool for landscape.
The kit lens will do very nicely for your need and you need to add for landscape in case you shoot at evening time a tripod.

Word of advise, when shooting landscape (in case you process your files) always shoot in RAW and always try to shoot at 100ISO if possible.
