but the lighting is terrible. i would hesitate to say that the colors are good as well.

Thanks. I agree with the lighting 100%. Still need to beef up my supply and get a flash and some reflectors.

Honest critique though, I think your friend was wearing a funny toned foundation, which didn't help you any color wise. She's looking a bit orange, and her lips are coated in the stuff.

I agree about the makeup. Even after she was like man I should have put on some lip gloss! She was visiting and I wanting to practice so she let me shoot her with my 3yr old running around trying to get attention so i wasn't as concerned about her looks as the overall photo. i still have so much to learn!
