Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
My computer is pretty slow so reviewing raw images is pretty painful... So I was just wondering if anyone knows of any software for flicking through my pictures that would work better than windows photo viewer? I don't need any fancy functions, just flip through and delete the ones I don't like, maybe a rotate button could be nice too...

Any suggestions?

The viewer that comes with ACDSee PRO has been the fastest so far.. Raw viewing is superb too and I think the actual viewer piece in ACDSee PRO would still function after the trial expiration. Very simple too, here's the toolbar it comes with which is just move back / forward, rotate, zoom and delete:

I prefer FastStone image viewer personally.

Thanks, I'm downloading and planning to test all three right now :)

Another question along the same subject... Is there any way to speed up my computer for image/raw viewing? I already close down all programs using task manager but that's about all I know to do. I was thinking about maybe getting linux just for sorting/editing photos, would it work? Or is there any other method like this?

My computer really is that slow... :(

Adding RAM may help, and it's a pretty easy thing to do.

Or maybe it's time to start thinking about a new computer.
