Damn hard shooting while flailing @ skeeters. :grumpy:

Took the Tokina 35-105 close focus out this morning & took all these in the close focus setting. This is a nice all purpose lens.

Ron, the trick with skeeters, is to bring someone along who's a more attractive bait.

Were these shots hand-held or on a tripod?

All hand held.

Unfortunately, I am the one others use as a bait person, I will be standing in a cloud of bugs & other folk pointing & laughing.

I'll be sending you an IV drip of 100% DEET.

Shots 3 and 5 are my favorites out of this batch. Yes, indeed, that's some sweet light.

Skeeters....Avon Skin So Soft ladies hand lotion is so good a mosquito repellant that I have Alaskan guide friends who suggest it to their clients as mosquito repellant--AND it seems to actually attract fish...so, it's a big repellant and a fish attractant!@!@! (Seriously!)

Very nice light.

I'm with you Ron, I'm covered in bites. I think the mosquitoes here laugh at my can of DEET spray.
My husband rarely gets bit. I tell him it's because he's bitter.

Thats the best right there. My favorite product to avoid our FL skeeters attacking in fighter formation
