Best photoshop book/dvd?

i just recently got adobe photoshop elements 7.0 and a wacom tablet, and i am looking into getting alittle more serious with editing my pictures. I have some knowledge of some older photoshop versions but not alot and it has been awhile. I figured quite a few of you guys have used some how-to books and dvd's for photoshop and i am wonder which ones worked best? I would probly learn better from a video but and i open to a book as well.
