Hello all --

I'm trying to choose between the following point and shoot cameras:

Olympus Stylus Wide 100
Pentax 120 mi
Canon Sure SHot 130u

Anyone have any advice, comments or suggestions?

Go with the olympus, spend the extra few bucks for that beauty wide angle, plus Olympus makes the best lenses, and i have never heard any complaints about Olympus products.

Olympus Stylus models are the best point-n-shoots. It's the only point-n-shoot I own myself. I bought them for my mother and mother in-law too.

When I worked in a camera shop I used to recommend Stylus models to serious photogs who wanted a point-n-shoot; many came back to me and told me how very surprised and happy they were.

Also, we had a lot fewer Stylus owners coming in looking for camera repairs than any other brand of point-n-shoots. I used to send off several Canon point-n-shoots for repair every week with strange electrical malfunctions.

After a tremendously long wait, my point and shoot finally arrived.

I ended up getting the PENTAX 120SW, which is their wide angle p&s (28-120mm).

Once I get my first roll of film back I will let people know what the quality is like.

I thank all for their input.
