I'm looking forward to buy a studio video tripod and a travel video tripod, i need to make a choice before black friday and i've watched tons of videos.

For the big one, I'm hesitating between the YC Pineta Peak, and the Smallrig Tribex. ( i've seen noone comparing them online )

For the travel one, I'm hesitating between the freewell, the Ulanzi Video Go Travel and the iFootage gazelle TC3B ( is not having a center column a big issue ? )

Thanks in advance for helping me pick.

Your title and the questions you are actually asking are two completely different things.

I'll answer the title first.
Below must be the best based on price. (I put as much effort into the answer as you did the question)

As for the two larger tripods I also couldn't find a review of the exact models you are looking at however the review below does indicate that a more expensive YC was less stable than a less expensive SmallRig.

For the travel tripod they are quite different in specifications. The Ulanzi Video Go is rated for almost twice the capacity.

I usually prefer tripods without a centre column. Not having a centre column from my experience is a stability benefit as long as both tripods can reach the same height.

hey zombiesniper, thx alot for your answer, yeah that first tripod looks insane, but it's even better than the famous sachtler flowtech ? ( i heard this was the best but not my budget ), i mean i could invest and buy it but like it was released in 2017, and i'm feeling that something similar must come sooner or later for way cheaper ( i heard it was overpriced due to not having competition because their tripod is just far superior from all the others, the reviews said )

for the studio tripods, the comparison is not made with the smallrig tribex but with another model.

as for the travel tripod, i was more into the ifootage one but i was wondering about the center column issue, it's getting higher than the ulanzi but with the center column the ulanzi goes higher, i was just thinking if not having a center column will reduce me alot of options ( like shooting with the camera upside down ) and if these options are really a thing or totaly useless.

For the studio tripods I agree the small ring wan't the same model. It was a cheaper model and from the review was still sturdier than the YG.

The centre column I have always seen as a stability issue but if you think you may need to shoot slung under than it could have some benefit.

Good luck with which ever you choose. Let us know how you like the new tripod. It may help the next person looking for something similar.
