You're leaving quite a lot up in the air with your question.

Best for what purpose? Best in terms of price, learning curve, desired outcome, best user support, what?

There is no such thing as 'best'. Of anything.

There may be something that performs exactly the way you want it to, but if the cost is prohibitive, then it's a moot point. Or something else may function as desired, but there's such a steep learning curve to it that you'll spend too much time learning how to make it work. Or something that is within your budget that works, but is so buggy it cannot be relied upon.


If there truly were the best of any one thing, it would be the only one on the market.

The best usually costs the most.
And as mentioned there are several aspects of software that using the word 'best' could apply to.
So you need to provide more info.

If you want the best final result you'll need to start with high quality still and/or video images.
Making high quality video and still images is about photographer/videographer skill and knowledge.
