Three things happened today... the first a few moments ago-I joined this forum! Second, I received my Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 and third I received my Billingham 555 (and it's not even Christmas yet). Please excuse if this topic has been covered before but I truly have been searching, with no luck.
I was disappointed to find there was no instruction book or card with photos on the various ways to configure the 555 bag. Maybe because the variations are countless it would be of no use. However, they could have provided a little guidance and their web site is not much help and even YouTube has detailed info on how the inserts work. Photographs of the interior with different configurations are scarce also. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
After spending a couple of hours I think I have it figured out but a few clarifications... Do all of the inserts go in the same way, that is with the velcro hook band on top an the and the loop at mid height? The way I have it set up now, they only attach to the outside of the center section, in other words they do not attach to each other. Is this the correct way to do it. I tried attaching them to each other but then I had to flip every other one so they would attach and it din't seem right. I hope I am explaining this well enough as I feel rather stupid in asking how it all fits together in the first place! If it's any consolation, I figured out how to attach the luggage tally by myself

I there was a source for pix or if someone has posted their pixs before (could be the 225, 335 or 445 as I believe they are pretty much the same-just size difference) that would be great. The gear I want to carry around all fits in, that's not the issue, I just want to make sure the inserts are in securely and it is set up as it was designed-and a masterful job it is at that.
The next item will be how to attach the tripod straps when they arrive, but I'll leave that for another day.
