Cool shots ! That #1 image is really nice, how the young birds have their mouth open waiting and shouting... feed me. Really cool shot, keep'em coming !

this is a scan from and 8x10 glossy. that was made from a 35mm slide.

i stuck the 8x10 in the scanner and tried enlarging the area around the birds.

i'll put it up for fun. i am new to this process and can't really say that i am doing it correctly. it looks pretty fuzzy to me!

i have the slide and may try it again at a later date.

thanks for the comments and if anybody wants to mess with either image...feel free.

citizenwp: you have some fine pics here. are those storks? cranes? how about the bottom photo? terns perhap?

the sandhill crane popualation here has skyrocketed in the past 20 years! i see them in fields all around here and i still cannot get over how big a bird it is.
