Bird in a Palm Tree

[shelby16]

Hello guys!

I am new to capturing bird photos, and I am not able to ID this bird...

It almost looks like a household bird that escaped? This bird is in my parents neighborhood in Florida with his lover, and they live in a hole in the palm tree.

Anyway, cute little guy and wanted to get a couple shots of him.

It's a wild parrot.

Sweet! To me it looks photoshoped on the palm tree but that's just theblown out blacks. Could be some really sweet shots there of them coming and going, might breed too so a chance of some first flight shots if you keep and eye out and camera ready

Here's info on them Nanday parakeet - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

Thank you everyone for the comments!

I am still trying to get memorize all the different types of birds, and just couldn't pinpoint exactly what this was.

The Nanday Parakeet looks pretty identical! Thank you!

It is super cute though! I'll have to wait around and see if I can catch it ever come out of it's home.
