Hey everyone,

I just came back from the Dominican Republic and they these birds out there...

Take a look at let me know what you think please... I think I can push it a lil more on the post-production, I shot these in raw also..

Image 1 - I actually have about 40 pictures of this bird. I was stalking it for about 3 days. I could have sworn it was dodging me, but I was able to capture this shot of it.
What I was thinking when shooting was to capture the bird in mid flight or in some other action type shot..

Image 2
I was aiming for the same action type shot... this shot is just after Image 1

Image 3
This fella and the rest of his crew where hanging around when I went to shoot the bird in Image 1 & 2... I love the eye contact.. I was waiting for him to put his other foot down, but he was having a good ol time on one leg.

Thanks in advance for any C&C

Is there really a place called DEMONican Rep?

They are all pretty soft. I think the first is the best if it was sharp.

I like the captures but it's a shame the first two are not sharp.

Thanks... I shot this with the aperture at 5.6 and iso at 640, that was the combo that allowed me to use the shutter I wanted to use... I'm thinking if I used a smaller aperture, it would have been more sharp. Would that be correct?

f5.6 sounds good to me, I think you just missed the focus.
