It's been slow going for me getting out to photograph anything, really. Here are a few birds from the past several days I managed to capture.
All shot with D500, 200-500 f/5.6 at varying focal lengths, shutter speeds, and apertures.
1.

2. Cardinal munching on a seed.

3. They hang so precariously sometimes..

4. A lonely Goose, wading through the water.

5. Robin at sunset

6. I have never seen one of these in my life! Looking it up I'm confident it's a Whimbrel, but they are not usually in my area. They do migrate and I think that freak snow storm we had last month forced them down in areas they don't normally venture. It was a very skilled worm hunter, too!
*edit* I stand corrected, it's a Woodcock.

7. Whimbrel (I mean Woodcock) getting a worm.
