Wow. I have only ever once seen any Roseate Spoonbills, and they were in the Bird Park (i.e. not in their natural habitat). And they were all just sitting around, not flying, like "yours" do here!

Those Turkey Buzzards must have craved for a photo of themselves, at last, since everyone else must have deemed them too ugly to photograph them, that is why they let you get this close. They want the PRINT! :D
 
Great shots of some 'interesting' looking birds. I especially like the first two pics (of the spoonsbills) and the one of the cross-necked turkey buzzards. The shot of the scrub jay is wonderful too...so detailed and so nicely composed.
