Hats off to you guys who shoot birds on the wing. It's not easy.

Nice pics! You did the right thing and went wide to ensure the whole body was in the pic and that's how you want to do it. You can always crop afterwards if you want. With practice and experience you can gradually tighten it up and zoom in even closer. Good on ya mate!
