I went to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park last weekend. I got some pretty neat shots. Black bears are everywhere.

They should be eating well this year. We have a few that moved south into our territory. NICE SET.

Edit update: on the news yesterday, one filmed roaming a neighborhood in town. Didn't seem concerned about people or traffic.

Black bears aren't deadly unless they eat you... Just kidding. Black bears really don't attack humans unless they think you have food or if you get too close to their cubs.
