Black Friday coming!

So... Black Friday is coming! Big rebates are coming too What are you going to buy?

From what I have seen and heard the deals aren't going to be very good this year. I prob won't get anything big maybe some CDs or blu rays. Unless there is some smoking online lens deal....which I doubt.

My gal at Nordstrom's said the men's stuff will have the real sale day after Christmas.

I'm good on cam gear so I reckon I'm not getting anything LoL

Target is supposed to have $1 Blu-Rays. I was at Best Buy yesterday and the employee told me they're not going to have much. I really wish they'd send the flyers sooner instead of on Thanksgiving.

I think I'm going to look for my first DSLR body, maybe a D7000 or a D90 depending of the rebates.

I have everything I need, and 90% of what I want. No one's getting my $$$ this time around.

My next purchase will be either a gently used D3s or a new D800, probably in time for me to get good and familiar with it before my New Year's Eve wedding.

Yeah most stores black friday ads are on the internet well before Thanksgiving. they should start trickling out to the masses in the next few days. just google black friday ads and you can find several sites devoted to simply that. I need a laptop. that's going to be my purchase but i'll probably go with a cyber monday deal if anything. i'm not going to wait 12 hours overnight in line at best buy for a chance to fight off people for the 4 laptops they have discounted heavily. i'll just pay the cash and get what I want while im my warm house lol.

I am not planning on buying anything on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Typically the effort you have to go through to get a deal at the brick and mortar stores are not worth it. I typically take advantage of Cyber Monday but I have already spent way too much on gear recently.

I personally like black friday because the wife enjoys getting up at 4am and hitting the stores, i get to stay at home and she usually takes care of 70% our christmas shopping that day meaning less work for me lol.
