Black-hooded Parakeet

Been out for a few days with covid so sorry if I missed commenting on anyone's pics.
My first sighting and shot of a local bird that made it's way from South America. I didn't know they were here until I saw one this morning and man, what a surprise it was! They're such beautiful birds.


These first two shots are basically safety/record shots, they were taken a good distance so they aren't going to WOW anyone.

I wish I were more asymptomatic. I had a fever for three days (101 f), chest/nasal congestion, runny nose, stiff neck/headache, dizzy, weak, over all achy, and cold chills, if that weren't enough already but hey, it's like the saying goes, "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger", but that must come sometime after crappier because I haven't felt stronger yet.
