A single picture out of a long series, but this is my favorite one. Comments and criticisms are very welcome.

P.S. : I do apologize for the strange title. Finding good titles is difficult, but finding good ones in a language that is not yours just looks impossible to me so far. Things will improve, hopefully.

I like this one. Good lighting ... and a pretty girl helps.

As for titles, I think most of us here would struggle a lot more if we had to find a title in Dutch or Flemish.

Anyways I like the photo very much. Seems a bit tight as her elbows and head is being cut off.

Thanks runnah. Indeed, it's tight because I wanted to concentrate very much on the face for this one. I am also used to chop heads when I am in a bad mood :mrgreen:

If you have more room in the original file, I would prefer to show all the elbow and less of the crown. As shown, the cropped part of her head looks like a framing mistake, whereas taking a larger whack might appear to be intentional.

Nice lighting, especially on the hair.

Unfortunately, no, there is nothing that I can do about the elbows, there is a ugly chair just below them. I should have put a black piece of fabric. I thought about this, but I did not do it. I tried several other framings for the head, but that one looked the best to me. If I crop more the head, it is unpleasant, if I crop a little less the head, it looks strange, and if I do not crop the head at all there is a clear balance issue between the top and the bottom of the composition.

I feel your pain. But, you have twice as much negative space on the right as you do on the left. Keeping the bottom of the frame as is, taking off some of the right will center / balance the composition. Yes, it will take more off the top, but that would be my preference anyway.

Well, why not. I will give a try just to see how it looks like. I know that there are quite different opinions when it comes to cropping rules, but I am open-minded as long as it looks good to me. So thanks for suggesting it.
