I have been reading some more and took your all advice. How about this?

Onboard flash = ruined image in like 90% of the cases.
Composition is getting there. too tightly cropped IMO but it's not bad.

Maybe I'm just biased. My baby is laying on my feet

Would an external speed flash help? Or are dedicated light unbrellas the perfered?
