I was lucky enough to be invited to the 2nd round of the Blancpain Endurance Series that my brother races in.

Here are a few pics that ive processed and was woindering what you all thought?

This is the first time i've ever tried to pan using a slow shutter speed to give a moving look. Unfortuatley, i left my tripod at home :(

They're not bad, the cars are nice and sharp. Keep practicing!

If you're going to want to get a really good pan though you're going need to drop your shutter speed to something much slower than 1/160. When I shoot motorsport I prefer to have a monopod attached to the lens as opposed to a tripod. You don't really NEED a tripod, so much as a steady hand, but the monopod helps me loads, and offers a bit more freedom as far as movement and tracking a moving subject like that imo.

thanks r3d. i was supposed to put monopad but forgot what they are called. i agree, a much slower shutter speed would produce better pics. practice practice practice

Not too bad of a shot. Love the sharpness of the cars. Good job on focusing in on that as the car travels pretty fast.
