Blizzard warning=perfect time to catch up on editing! C&C

Planning on doing a print of one of these two edits for Christmas for the parentals. Trying to go for a rustic feel. Which one do you guys prefer?

The 2nd one is definitely more 'rustic,' but my taste prefers the 1st one. I like the color a lot more in the 1st one. Nice shot.

I think a mix of both would do it. Both are a bit too extreme for me. Neat photo though!

I, personally, like the second one better. While the colors are stronger in the first one, I'm kinda diggin' the paleness of the sky...just my two cents...

number one is amazing. the only thing that might have made it better is a longer exposure to make the water flow so to speek.

i think a shot like this should have its authentic colors. Rules out #2. If for printing, it would look weird with that strange colored sky. I think 1 is better, but needs more detail in trees. If you open it in RAW you can bring up a lot of the light and details in those trees.

No question it would have been way better if you had the ability for a long exposure to blur the wheel/water. An ND8 would have been a good filter for try that with.
