Spotted this fellow while out for a drive yesterday. Got virtually no shots showing his feet as they were seldom visible in the grasses.

Nice find and nice sharp shots, but they seem very tightly cropped.

If the feet are hidden, many of us would still include where they would have been in the frame.

Agreed these are a bit tight. I have the RAW files and have some a bit further out. The background is not picturesque as the bird was down in a river bed surrounded by cement walls.

I think the 3rd image needs to be cropped further. I would crop out after the plum of feathers finishes it's curve from top to bottom.

So i redid a couple of them. Lessened the crop on a couple and then tightened the crop on the one photo.

Excellent
