bokeh C+C welcome

So I'm posting in this forum because I got yelled at for posting in the beginners forum and I dont like being yelled at so here goes let me know what you think.

Good leading line but the leading line doesnt lead us to anything. It needs a dominant subject. Perhaps a bird, squirrel, or something right where it is in focus.

You do understand that you got "yelled at" because you asked for C&C, and when you got it, you got pissed off that no one said anything positive to you. People gave you honest critique about the photo's shortcomings, and you started talking about how great you are at photography (which makes me wonder why you're asking for C&C on a begginers forum, but I digress). C&C stands for Comments and Critique. If you just want to hear about sunshine, rainbows and unicorns, let your Dad's class oooo and ahhh at your photos. If you want honest critique, listen to what others have to say, and learn something.

As for this shot, the angle adds interest, but I can't help but think it looks like every other "I just got a 'nifty fifty' and want to go wide open to see how much of the frame I can make blurry!" Beyond the log, there's not much interest in the photo. You wanted C&C and the bokeh, but all that's really there is a blurred background. There's no real quality to the blurriness (which is what bokeh is), it just is there.

I like it. I thnk many pictures just can't be seen correctly online. I bet this would look great printed out big. I would like to see an even tighter crop on the right side where the branch ends. Thats just me though. I think adding a bit of exposure to the background could help as the back ground bokeh has no details in a few areas, but this may just be my works POS monitor.

I just got mad at one person because of another situation entirely sorry that thread was so misinterpreted I "can" take criticism and I am not a great photographer but I want to be and I know the best way to do that is to keep shooting and learning from what others can teach so can we please drop this.
