It should properly be 'Kilometer' as Germany doesn't use miles ;)

but then you need to convert properly ... and there are so many different miles ... Swedisch miles (which are basically nautical miles I think), miles in the UK, and wherever ;)

Oh, and miles are used in Germany on rare occasions, they are just not official measure anymore.
