Book On Sharpening

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend a good book on sharpening techniques in Photoshop?

I found this one but the reviews are somewhat mixed.

Real World Image Sharpening with Adobe Photoshop, Camera Raw, and Lightroom (2nd Edition)

Have a look at the articles on these two websites - both are very informative on a whole range of subjects regarding both capture and editing - as well as controls such as sharpening

Online reviews are usually mixed. I don't expect every book I get to be perfect.

I have the Real World Image Sharpening book and found it informative and helpful, and have recommended it to others.

When I saw the title of the thread I went running to my bookcase to be sure I would get the correct name of the book that certainly changed my outlook and put me on the right trail.

It is the same one Keith suggested. Bruce Fraser, "Image Sharpening with Adobe Photoshop CS2".

Up to reading the book and reviewing his examples I never sharpned as I thought the images looked sharp. But he got me to thinking and examing them closer, especially when I started printing for myself .

Perhaps you library may have one that you can take a look at before buying.
