Books

Hello,

I'm looking for some good books on composition. There's a lot of books out there that help with the technical aspects of photography, but I was hoping someone would be able to name a few that deal with composition. I guess I get the equivilant to writer's block, and I think a book or two could help me decide what would make a great picture.

I like the book Learning to See Creatively by Bryan Peterson. The best thing I can recommend aside from a book is to look at other photographers work and see how they are composing their pictures. And of course, going out and taking pictures is a great to see what works and what doesn't.

If you search for photography books on Amazon, you'll find alot of reviews. That's usually where I go when I want to buy a "how to" book.

I like to go to the book store and just wander around and if the cover looks pretty then I pick it up and read a little.

Actually, I look on Amazon and if I'm unsure I go to the bookstore and check it out first hand.
