Bored = Attempted Mini Planet

Hey guys, sitting home bored on a Friday so I decided to mess around with an older image of mine and turn it into a mini planet. Hope you like it. I plan on doing something like this for the countries we visit in Europe for the upcoming months. I think the Eiffel Area would look awesome like this.

Magic circles are fun to play with. I'd clone away the clouds, or do a composite with undistorted clouds.

I think I'm going to retry this shot with the intent of doing a planet, with a full 360 degree panorama of the site. This was a non-wide angle shot turned into one.

Using the Polar Coordinate filter in Photoshop.

yeah, it's all done in photoshop.

Make image a full square, rotate 180, Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinate Filter.

When you made it square did you crop it? Or did you distort it to square?

Lightroom and Elements don't have the Polar Coordinate filter.

In CS you'll find it in with the Distort filters.

Distort. Chage image side so height is same as width. Landscape picture not sure it works in portrait.
