Nice shot but I have to think the overly bright left side is overpowering the scene. I took the image back into the RAW editor, applied a light gnd filter to that side, opened in photoshop and gave it a boost on the foot of the curve, masking out the buildings and water on the right and left sides. To me, this gives more definition, less light and a better overall balance of light to the whole image. It doesn't translate as well on the forum but looks pretty good in CS6. And, so that goes on a continual basis. Sighhhh.

Very cool..... I was at 109 Broad St 3rd floor above Boston Ship. I lived in Hingham then Scituate and took the commuter boat into Boston and walked to the studio. I miss Boston but not the bitter cold winters.

I like the picture. But I 100% agree with Ceeboy. Some of the highlights are blown and that's immediately where my eye went.

Shoot a shot for the brightest highlights to contain the DR, and mask it in photoshop.
