Bowen Island set

Most of these photos were actualy on the way to or on the way back from the island. Seems it's true at least in this case for me that the journey is more rewarding than the destination.

Bowen island is north of vancouver in Horseshoe Bay. Shots 1,3,4 and 6 are in Horseshoe Bay. Shot 2 is of English bay which downtown Vancouver is situated next to.

Very nice!
I like the dominance of the colour blue and the graphic element of Photo 1.
Blue continues to be a theme in Photo 2 and this one makes me wonder how ever you got to be in such a marvellous point of view for this picture?
The scenery is stunning in your Photo 3, again it is quite blue ... was everything really as blue?

Blue seems to be your overall theme, only interrupted by red and white

wink: ) in Photo 4 ....

... and I like the soft water in 6.

What happened in Photo 5, and was THAT what Bowen Island looked like all over?

I love photo #5 the lines that trees create are incredible and I definatly think the Black and White decision increased the intensity! keep it up!

I visited a good friend living in Cresent Beach (?) years ago.

Vancouver and the area are quite beautiful.

Some amazing colours in these very vivid in 1 and 4.
I like them alot. also think 3 and 6 are awesome. All good though.

Wow, thank you all for the positive comments.

LaFoto: yes the scenes really were that blue. Even photo 1. My circular polarizing filter really helped to cut down on the scattered light. And no the island was not like photo 5. The trees were dead becasue they were at the edge of a lake where the water had flooded the ground the trees were growing out of.
