Let me tell you few words about light settings. Looking on my son's eyes you can tell that I used softbox on his left and umbrella on right. Photo was taken in our bedroom and I did some pp to make it on white background (I know that is cheating but I'm running out of spacce to get propper setup for white background).
In terms of ma strobes I'm using Interfit EX150 MarkII kit. I bought them in Jessops for about £250 and I'm really happy with them. It is good start for begginers, and as you can see results could be nice. It is all up to you.
