Brand Spanking New....some c&c

Hello Everyone

I am literally as green as they come. I picked up a camera for the first time last week.

I'm using a canon rebel xs and my first attempt at using manual just happened last night. I also used a friends ridiculously old strobe flash to get some pics.

Being a complete newb, I would love some c&c. Thanks

First of all, very cute! But I think I would like to see the black color of the dog a little more richer, more deep. I think maybe they are a wee bit over exposed. But that is easily fixed in the post processing. Its a shame the nose and right side of the dogs face is cut off in #2 because the expression is priceless!

They are def great poses. 2-3 are overexposed you probably could have gotten away without using the flash. But def a good start

What a cute dog!!! He makes me smile =D Just a little more experimenting with lighting/composition and you'll get a great pic of this cute lil dude!
