I like it, but not as a bridal portrait. I'm with Sean. This speaks to me more of the veil than of the person. I think a much tighter crop from the right to just inside or just outside of her earring and down from the top would still keep the veil prominent in the image and increase the value of the bride. Just my two cents.
Part of it looking like a detail shot is that the veil is in tighter focus than the face, not to mention the exposure on the veil is brighter than any other portion of the image, pulling my eyes to it again and again. This one just isn't about the bride I'm afraid.
