Neat... when I saw the title, I wondered why if you'd been photographing in my backyard, you'd not bothered to knock and say, 'Hi'!

this is actually a pretty cool shot. This little bridge has much real character. I am almost wishing the grass wasn't so green on the other side as it is distracting. But I know, I know, the grass is sometimes greener on the other side.. nice shot thanks for posting I still see lots of possibilities with this if you wish to explore it further.

If there is one thing I see in Arkansas I like.............. it's trees and hills!! Back home is plains as far as the eye can see. Well, with a mole-hill here and there. Nice photo, Ed!

little muddy this seems to need color unless you single out the bridge and go high contrast. . And some color here goes well it is a busy frame. Out of curiosity, have you considered just dropping the saturation in the first one until it is somewhere in between a bw and color? Just bury the saturation to almost nil? for some reason I am on this desaturation fetish lately. only reason why I ask... If you like your photo just keep it as is don't listen to me I think it looks good anyway. lol.

Nice edit, been over sharpening. found that cool sharpen I lightroom. have back off a lot. Ed

That bright grass is not from over saturation of green (notice the tree lleaves and bushes) it is YELLOW that is the culprit. If you run vibrance a touch to much you get neon grass, just drop down to the color hue/saturation/luminance section and drop the yellow luminance down, occasionally you also have to tweak the yellow saturation. that's been my experience anyway.

nearly forgot. With LR's sharpen remember to set the masking level up as well.
