Tell me what good it does to revive a dead thread with remarks completely unrelated? Were I an admin, that user would be banned, as it's their only post, and the thread would be locked. They signed up to do that! That's why I reported it. Forums don't need that kind of activity from that kind of user, probably a bot.

Posts like that one actually do interfere with the smooth running of the forum software, as it's a method for spambots to enter and post stuff you do not want to see!

If you were an admin I would not be a member.

Having run a forum some years ago, this kind of stuff was 37 hours of every day in management. Never gonna do it again!!!

It isn't about "My way or the highway," it's about protecting the forum's legitimate users.
