I have to say I'm getting real tired of problems with the 50D though, I got the err99 again today and had to dismantle the thing to get it to reset. Can't say I recommend the camera at this time considering the problems, expensive brick sometimes

Cool shots, I used to get that error with my 40D, but a firmware upgrade for the camera fixed that right up.. Maybe have a look at canons website and see if there is one available for the 50D?

Thanks for the comments. Don't want to hijack my own thread but Canon has no comment yet, but plenty of users do
