Bulk ink system

We use a bulk system with a special printer based on the Epson 2200. The yellow is clogged in the printhead. I have wasted over one oz. of ink per color (except the yellow) attempting to clean it. I have ink flowing all the way from the bulk bottles through the carts. The blockage is definitely in the head. The ink is a fabric dye, water based. I tried soaking the head spray face with a warm, wet rag. Nothing. Anyone have any ideas how to fix, short of buying a $299 print head? TIA, John.

You might be able to knock it loose in an ultrasonic cleaner. Getting a jewelery store to let you muck up their cleaner might be difficult though...
