Burrower Tarantula taken at Enchanted Rock, Texas

Hey gang,

Had a busy weekend with our Cub Scout pack camp out this past weekend at Enchanted Rock Natural Area just north of Fredericksburg, TX

I shot a lot of nice landscape photos with my EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS and 70-200 f/4 L but on the way out I was surprised by this guy right outside the bathrooms. I used a small stick the gingerly coaxed him to crawl up on top of a granite rock.
