The other day at work I came across a couple of burrowing owls and Saturday morning I went back with the camera. From the looks of the cement, as well as the beak and talons, I'd say a field mouse in the area had a very bad morning. I knew the second one was close by and started looking in the nearby grass, when I realized the grass had eyes.

That first image is excellent! They do seem to like to perch on one foot more than other owls... I really need to find one of these! On my bucket list...
 
Thank you for the comments. Quick question, what's the best way to post a pic so that it shows up in the thread, without the need to click on anything? I've been able to post pics directly before, but wasn't able to get it to work this last time.

i dont know how to other then i use flickr to post them on here

I once thought I knew, but I'm not sure anymore. These photographs are too large, so resize them to smaller, then post.

I usually post directly from my computer, using drag n' drop. When you get the "thumbnail or full size" box, click on "full size", then post.
