Business card

Hi Guys, I still haven't got my camera I'm being good and waiting till Christmas day anyway I was bored so I thought I'd just mess around with photoshop and throw together a business card for if and when I get better and used to photography

Would be nice to get your opinion, don't often post my Photoshop work

My opinion is that you should probably wait until you actually have a camera and know how to use it before you start making business cards...

As I said these aren't to give out to people, they were simply just out of boredom. I am well aware that I need to get good with the camera.

Just a little premature, in my opinion...that's all. The card itself doesn't look bad, I just can't understand why you even felt the need to make it at this point.

I would maybe lose the "phone number" and "email" text. You know that it's a phone number and e-mail address just from looking at it. No need really to spell it out. It might look cleaner without that.


I still think it's too early to be thinking about business cards though, lol.

I understand what your saying and I do agree that it is premature as for the need to make it now I have no idea why, I was in the middle of designing a website and just started on this instead.

Heh, it's actually one of the better card designs I've seen posted here. People usually go overboard with gimmicks and busy-ness.

I agree. Maybe try a very slight gradient, not much color change at all...

It's never too early. I made business cards very early as well, except they were more like contact cards, if anything. I wasn't trying to sell any of my work, but it was a convenient means to give people my contact info if they ended up as one of my subjects and wanted copies. It turned out to be very handy!

As for the card: Simple and to the point, I like it. However, as was said, lose the Phone and Email. I also put a slogan on mine, I think it adds a little personality to the card.

I'm a little bugged that the logo is centered while the type is flush left. I would align the two or do another design.

That is a really nice business card. I also prefer thhe simpler the business card the more better it is When I got my cards from CardsMadeEasy, they turned out the way i wanted them to be

edit: is there a SLIGHT gradient? It looks like the lower edge may be darker, but it could be my laptop.
