Busy Bees

I decided to take my Sigma 105mm Macro out into the back yard. I still need a lot of practice with it. The first three are on dandelions, and the last is on a Yaupon holly, which just went into bloom and smells wonderful! There are hundreds of bees in that hedge right now.

The scent is grabbing their attention! In Georgia I had a large flowering cherry tree, and when it started to bloom the bees descended and buzzed around it for hours every day. I would stand underneath it and close my eyes and just listen to that hum. It was lovely!
