Nice image but lacking creativity. It's just buttons. Do something creative with them, stack them largest to smallest, put in big pile and shoot macro, etc.

i dont think this should be B/W. Buttons are usually colorful, fun, etc.

I didn't really have a plan.

Which is weird for me because I usually over-think things.

well, it also came out that way, unplanned.
there are too many of them for eyes to look at and figure something out of them.

You could have added some extra designs to the cloth or sheet to make it more beautiful. As, photography involves more creative work. Just an opinion from me..
