Buying Refurbs?

Anyone have any advice on buying factory refurbs? I want to know if I should be looking at buying them, or if it is worth it to just save up for the NIB one.

I hae A great dealer in long island ny (labelle Camera)www.labellecameras.comi have bought a refurb nikon 55-200vr lens and had no problems ,as long as the refurb is a factory IE nikon , canon ect you should be safe Ive always felt in many ways refurb is better beacuse it was already broken and fixed to factory specs
