Buying SD cards from Amazon...anyone have issues with them?

I read on the net someone ordered SD cards from Amazon and got some bad / possibly counterfeit cards. I don’t know if they were off-brand or what. I was going to order some SanDisk 8 gig cards that Amazon fulfills. I was wondering if the complaint I read was an isolated case or possibly a private seller unloading bad cards.

Has anyone ordered name brand SD cards that Amazon sells / fulfills and had issues with them?

I've ordered several SanDisk Extreme Pro 32 GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-1 Flash Memory Card 95MB/s SDSDXPA-032G-AFFP from Amazon and have had ZERO issues with them over the last year. Matter of fact, all of my memory cards for the last few years have been ordered from Amazon with no issues.

Typically, cards that are fulfilled by Amazon themselves are 100% legit and the same product as retail. I would stay away from cheaper cards from sellers without decent feedback/reviews.

Nope, never had a problem with any brand-name sd card purchase from Amazon. A few years ago, I made the mistake of buying some "Amazon Basics" sd cards, because they were on sale really cheap, and at the time I believed one sd card was as good as another. I bought two of them, and neither one even last a month before it quit working.
I notice that they no longer seem to sell their own brand, so I can only assume that my experience with them was not an unusual one.

But the Sandisk cards I've bought from them have always been fine.

I'll chime in as well since this seems to be a common question.. I've used several SanDisk cards from Amazon and never had an issue with one of them. After lots 'o hard use too.
